As an avid anime fan and amateur artist, I never thought my hobby for anime would lead to something as amazing as my first commission being featured on Search Engine Land!!!. But that's exactly what happened!
Recently, my mum asked me to create some illustrations for an article she had written about "Understanding quiet quitting in SEO." As someone who (at 12 years of age) is already more familiar than most with the world of SEO, I was excited to dive into this project and bring my own unique perspective to it through my anime art.
The process of creating the illustrations was both challenging and rewarding. I had to think about how to visually represent the concept of "quiet quitting" (I didn’t know what that was to begin with, so I learnt) in a way that was both accurate and engaging. I spent hours sketching and experimenting during the Christmas Holidays with different ideas until I finally settled on the perfect design.
The article has been published TODAY! and I couldn't believe my eyes. My illustrations were featured prominently throughout the piece, bringing the concept to life in a way that words alone couldn't. Seeing my work on such a reputable website was an incredible feeling, and I was so proud to be a part of this project.
This experience has made me realize that my anime art can be more than just a hobby – it can be a valuable tool for creating meaningful and impactful content. I'm excited to see where this journey takes me, and I'm so grateful to have had this opportunity. Thank you, Search Engine Land, special thanks to Mr Danny Goodwin and his team for making my dream come true and being ok with my illustrations.
