What day is it today? Wednesday? Tuesday? 27th or 28th? Yes, it is that week of the year where not many people know what day it is. Some of us are still in the hype of Christmas: using a lot of our new presents, over-eating and chatting with family members that we don’t get to see too often in the year.
Now that I mentioned family, as an avid anime fan, I thought I would put together a compilation of anime themed table games and programs to watch or suggest when we are asked.
Here are some popular anime and manga-based programs and movies available on Netflix:
- Attack on Titan - This action-packed anime follows the story of Eren, Mikasa, and Armin as they fight to defend their homeland against giant humanoid creatures known as Titans.
- My Hero Academia - popular anime series that follows the story of a young boy named Izuku Midoriya who dreams of becoming a hero in a world where almost everyone has special powers, known as "Quirks."
- Demon Slayer - it follows the story of a young man named Tanjirou who sets out to protect his family and avenge his sister's death at the hands of demons. The series is set in a world where demons roam the land, and follows Tanjirou as he trains to become a demon slayer in order to defeat the demons and protect the humans living in fear of them.
- One Punch Man - This action-comedy anime follows the story of Saitama, a superhero who can defeat any enemy with just one punch.
- Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood - This classic anime follows the story of two brothers who use alchemy in their quest to find the Philosopher's Stone and restore their bodies.
- Death Note - This psychological thriller anime follows the story of Light Yagami, a high school student who discovers a mysterious notebook that allows him to kill anyone whose name he writes in it.
- Your Lie in April - This heart-wrenching anime follows the story of Kousei Arima, a former child prodigy pianist who struggles to find a new purpose in life after the death of his mother.
- The Seven Deadly Sins - This action-packed anime follows the story of a group of knights who band together to defeat the kingdom's tyrannical ruler and restore peace to the land.
- The Promised Neverland - This suspenseful anime follows the story of a group of orphaned children who must use their wits and resourcefulness to escape from the mysterious and deadly facility where they live.
- Devilman Crybaby - This action-packed anime follows the story of Akira Fudo, who is possessed by a demon and must use his newfound powers to protect the world from other demons.
- Naruto - This classic anime follows the story of Naruto Uzumaki, a young ninja who dreams of becoming the strongest ninja in his village and being recognized by everyone.
